Lefkada Holy Monastery Faneromeni

Lefkada Holy Monastery Faneromeni the sacred rock of Our Lady, as they call the Virgin Mary in Lefkada, on a hill with stunning views over the west and from the city center, located for centuries, the historic Monastery of the Blessed Virgin Faneromeni. The Virgin Mary is the patron saint and protector of the island. Akrotiri Lefkata in Lefkada is one of the largest and most impressive natural beauty attractions on the island. You will find The white Akrotiri after Porto Katsiki and following a dirt road that leads there. Akrotiri is 50 km from the town of Lefkada. This is a very impressive and imposing landscape with a panoramic view of the blue Ionian Sea. The huge white rocks say that was the reason they called the White Cape. The landscape is mountainous and rugged and it is said that from there the lyric poet Sappho fell into the sea and killed herself when her beloved Phaon denied her love.
